Debonding Adhesive

SIMALFA® has always been at the forefront of developing water-based, foam-bonding adhesives. And we just did it again with our recycling-ready adhesives! The key aspect is that these adhesives are designed to enable the complete debonding of the foam layers of discarded mattresses. This not only makes it possible to recycle mattresses in the traditional way, but it even makes it possible for the raw materials to be upcycled. This innovation ensures foam mattresses bonded with our adhesive can be fully reintegrated into the raw materials cycle.

ALFAMELT 2850/9 100%PP

100% PP hotmelt for unmixed mono-material recycling of pocket-spring cores
A hotmelt adhesive made from 100% polypropylene (PP) for bonding pocket-spring cores. Thanks to the special adhesive technology of our ALFAMELT® 2850/9, pocket-spring cores can be completely recycled as an unmixed mono-material at the end of their useful life. Inline Production Adhesives

SIMALFA®'s water-based adhesive, specifically developed for inline mattress production, maximises efficiency, and ensures a high degree of process safety. Free from halogenated ingredients (CR-free), it allows for immediate vacuuming and packaging after application thanks to its rapid drying properties. Applied with a one-sided roller, this adhesive offers time-saving, cost-efficient bonding with very high initial tack and solid content. Its quick-drying formulation, combined with a well-matched adhesive and application system, guarantees efficient, secure bonding and superior final quality.

Looper-Adhesive

SIMALFA® 819, a unique eco-friendly, water-based 2K adhesive, revolutionises Looper bonding in foam production and the upholstery industry with unparalleled performance.
